LOS ANGELES, CA — I-Corps Hub West is excited to announce IGNITE at NBSE, a unique and immersive workshop designed to help researchers and innovators explore the commercial potential of their technology-based projects. Whether you are just beginning to consider entrepreneurship or have already formed a team, this program provides the foundational tools to turn research into real-world impact.
What is IGNITE at NBSE?
IGNITE at NBSE is a specialized training program tailored for individuals with research-based projects who want to explore their commercialization pathways. Participants will engage in a hybrid learning experience that includes virtual educational sessions followed by hands-on training at the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) Convention in Chicago, IL.
Who Should Attend?
This opportunity is open to:
Undergraduate and graduate students
Research faculty in STEM fields
Individuals in life sciences, physical sciences, engineering, mathematics, computer science, or health sciences
Priority will be given to:
Graduate and post-doctoral students
Research faculty
Individuals affiliated with I-Corps Hub West partner institutions

Travel and Lodging Support
Participants selected for IGNITE at NBSE will receive travel and lodging reimbursements for the NSBE Convention. To be eligible, participants must attend all required workshops and events.
